Emiko Shiratori (白鳥 英美子 Shiratori Emiko, born March 16, 1950) is a Japanese singer best known in America for her song contributions to the video games Final Fantasy IX and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. During the late 60s and early 70s she gained some acclaim in Japan as one half of the folk rock group You and Me, alongside partner Akutagawa Sumio. In 1972 she was asked to sing in the Sapporo Winter Olympics opening ceremony and returned again in 1998 to sing in the ceremonies of the Nagano Winter Olympics. She is married to Japanese composer Sumio Shiratori
